Robinson Aerial Surveys, Inc. (RAS) was contracted by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey to provide update color aerial photography, update and establish new ground control, perform aero-triangulation, compile 40-scale topographic mapping with one-foot contours, perform CADD Editing and create digital ortho-photos for Newark Liberty International Airport. RAS also compiled 3-dimensional data creating a Digital Terrain Model (DTM). All project ground controls and final products are compliant with Port Authority’s Guidelines for Photogrammetric Mapping. Deliverables included: topographic mapping in AutoCAD 2004 on CD-ROM along with mylar plots, as well as Digital ortho photos in Tiff, Jpeg and MrSid formats.
RAS delivered the final topographic mapping and ortho-photos on schedule and earned an “Excellent” rating from the Port Authority.
