Robinson Aerial Surveys, Inc. (Robinson), as a sub-consultant to TY Lin International, is providing MEP Engineering Design, Construction Administration and Mapping services for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority Facilities Improvement Program. The scope of the overall Facilities Improvement Program includes the construction of new buildings and the rehabilitation and/or replacement of 80 buildings, including Multi-Use Buildings, Salt Storage Buildings, and Material and Vehicle Storage Buildings.
Robinson’s engineering staff is responsible for Construction Administration and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering design services. The work included preparation of design drawings for lighting, wirings, emergency lighting, emergency generator, PA systems, fire alarm systems, strobes, boilers, HVAC, building management systems, ventilation, ducts, chiller, cooling coils, piping, sprinklers, valves, and load calculations. In addition, Robinson is providing shop drawing review, review and respond to RFI’s, permits and approvals, attending construction progress meetings, coordination, MEP change order analysis, preparation of MEP punch lists and review of MEP as-built drawings.
